    EzGov was incorporated in Atlanta on April 9, 1999. The company began as the dream of Bryan Mundy and Ed Trimble, who recognized the tremendous opportunities online transactional government applications. EzGov obtained initial funding from a group of angel investors, and launched its first application — Property Tax Payment in DeKalb County, Georgia — in August 1999.

    Over the course of the last six years, EzGov grew quickly and opened offices in Amsterdam, London and Washington, D.C., to better serve a rapidly expanding global customer base. The company's Americas and Caribbean business unit was purchased by ChoicePoint in May 2005. The remaining company, EzGov Europe, continues to provide government agencies, in Europe and the Middle East, with leading-edge software and services to support their mission-critical requirements.
