EzGov Europe to focus on continued growth, delivering robust software solutions to government agencies

ATLANTA, Ga. – May 3, 2005 – EzGov, Inc., a software company focused on transforming the business of government, today announced that its Americas and Caribbean business unit has been acquired by ChoicePoint (NYSE: CPS), the leading provider of identification and credential verification services.

ChoicePoint® will continue to provide EzGov FlexFoundation® software and support to government organizations in North America, South America, and the Caribbean. Concurrently, EzGov® will retain control of its European business unit, EzGov Europe, with offices in London and Amsterdam, and focus on its continued growth in this market.

ChoicePoint joined EzGov's FlexAlliance partnership program last year. The two organizations have worked together to integrate ChoicePoint's solutions into applications built on EzGov's FlexFoundation™ platform, allowing government agencies to quickly and cost effectively automate manual processes in such areas as benefits administration, revenue collection, and licensing/credentialing. For example, ChoicePoint and EzGov are engaged with the Internal Revenue Service on a pilot program to improve small business tax collection cycle time.

More than half of EzGov's business is in Europe, and over 80 percent of UK Government Gateway transactions originate from EzGov solutions. The UK Government Gateway is a centralized registration service for e-government services and was developed in response to a mandate that all government services in the UK be online by 2005. It includes more than 50 services from 20 agencies and has more than five million registered users. Over the last five years, EzGov has helped UK government agencies – including the Inland Revenue, the Department of Work and Pensions, and the Court Service – build applications for online government services. For example, this year alone, more than 1.5 million people submitted Self Assessment tax returns via the Inland Revenue's online application built on FlexFoundation software.

EzGov's product development, support, and sales resources outside the U.S. will remain at the company's Amsterdam and London locations. The majority of EzGov's Americas and Caribbean employees will remain in the Atlanta area as ChoicePoint employees.
